Air Booster takes a leap with Solar Boost©, an unprecedented air thermal solution dedicated to individuals. This patented technology, the result of several years of research, captures solar energy to heat or cool homes. It also helps to purify indoor air. Accessible, stylish, and efficient, it addresses current challenges of comfort, health, and energy savings.

ToggleA made in France technology that transforms facades into energy sources
Transforming building walls into thermal collectors: this is the challenge taken on by Air Booster. The company from Gironde, founded in 2019, has managed to combine innovation and energy efficiency to design a patented technology that captures solar energy and ambient air, to heat or cool buildings naturally. Previously reserved for the professional market, this approach has enabled the company to install over 500 m² of panels and launch over 160 pilot projects, with partners like Safran and Thales.
With Solar Boost©, Air Booster finally adapts its technology for the general public. A strategic pivot, supported by three years of research, leading to a solution designed for individual housing. For Aurélien Rey, managing director, the potential is immense: “The building is a key lever in the energy transition. Our goal is to reconcile energy performance and accessibility.” A vision that already seems to bear fruit, judging by the enthusiasm of the first pre-orders.

Solar Boost©: thermal performance and accessibility for individuals
Developed in Haillan, in Gironde, Solar Boost© does not merely recycle an existing concept. It reinvents it. Unlike traditional solutions that rely on uniform cladding, the system channels air to a precise point. This improves thermal efficiency and limits losses. According to Christophe Fourcaud, founder of Air Booster, “this innovation allows for a gradual warming of the air, with performances between 600 and 800 Wc/m², at a cost reduced by a factor of three.”
But that’s not all: beyond energy efficiency, Solar Boost panels also contribute to indoor air quality. Filtration, renewal, combating humidity… The solution accumulates benefits. It easily integrates with existing facades, thanks to a design available in seven colors and two finishes. And from September onwards, a 3D configuration tool will allow users to customize their installation. A clever way to democratize a technology once reserved for tertiary buildings.

A lightning launch that confirms the growing demand for sustainable solutions
545 orders in less than 24 hours. This figure, put forward by marketing manager Giulia Galione, reflects the public’s appetite for alternatives to traditional heating and air conditioning systems. It also translates into a ground reality: individuals are looking for concrete solutions to lighten their energy bills, without sacrificing comfort. “More than just a launch, it’s a confirmation: our solution perfectly matches market expectations, ” she emphasizes.
This success also highlights the growing strength of the company. In one year, Air Booster has grown from three to fourteen employees, with a team half dedicated to R&D. This strategic choice confirms the desire to industrialize an innovation that remains rooted in a low-tech logic, but clearly aims for widespread dissemination. I relay this information that resonates with an underlying trend: that of a more sober, healthier habitat aligned with climate goals.
