Renewable energy: elmy puts 320 kWc into service

The production of solar energy is accelerating in France, and Elmy is a key player. With the inauguration of a new photovoltaic power plant in the Drôme, the company strengthens its commitment to a greener energy mix. This 320 kWc project now supplies the electricity network. It adds to the six plants already operated by Elmy. And this is just the beginning: other installations are under development across the territory.

An operational photovoltaic power plant in the Drôme

For a few days now, a new solar power plant has been operating in Pont de l’Isère, in the Drôme. With a capacity of 320 kWc, it will produce 395 MWh per year. This will help cover the electricity consumption of about 100 households. Installed on three buildings intended for storage for local businesses, this installation marks a step forward in the deployment of renewable energies.

The company Elmy has led the construction of this plant and will ensure its operation and maintenance. Its commitment does not stop there. It is already planning other projects in the area, notably a 100 kWc solar power plant on the roof of a building under construction.

100% of the energy reinjected into the grid

All electricity generated by this power plant will be directly injected into the public grid. This project reinforces Elmy’s activities, which already manages six solar power plants in France. The company thus continues its ambition to structure an integrated energy model capable of responding to the challenges of the energy transition. Currently, 30 MWc of new solar capacities are under development. This figure confirms Elmy’s willingness to accelerate the production of renewable energies and contribute to a more sustainable energy mix.

A crowdfunding campaign to support 17 new projects

Yesterday, Elmy launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Enerfip platform to finance 17 solar projects spread across the territory. The enthusiasm was immediate: the target amount was reached within minutes thanks to investors on the platform. Additional funding is still available, but only for clients of the energy provider, until February 5. This initiative demonstrates a growing interest in renewable energy projects and citizen involvement in their financing. With these initiatives, Elmy continues to anchor its model in a sustainable dynamic. Thus, it strengthens its role in the development of solar energies in France.
